Business Operations Management Team

Job Description & Requirements

Description - This is a special purpose team, whose mission is to respond to a wide variety of internal and external requests for audits and other information. A combination of specialized skills in several areas coupled with strong analytical skills, creative problem solving, and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are needed:

Team Composition:

• Business Operations Manager - manages overall team activities and efforts.
• Business Operations Coordinator - assists the Business Operations Manager, functions as his/her Deputy.
• Cost/Price Analyst - performs detailed analyses of various subcontract and/or contract cost and pricing issues.
• Data Administrator - manages data to be accumulated, organized (not an IT Data Base Administrator), for shared, collective use.
• Senior Document Control Manager - organizes flow of documents, filing, storage, retrieval, control
• Administrative Assistant - provides a wide range of ad hoc support for the team.

Education Required - BA, in business, contract administration or procurement related field. Highly desirable is an MBA or similar advanced degree. Ten or more years experience in this field may substitute for the degree requirement.

Required Relevant Experience - In general for most positions on this team, the candidate should have at least 5 years in procurement and/or subcontracting under the FAR or similar US Government contracting regulation, with 2 or more years experience in the specific area..

Highly Desired:

• Previous work experience in third-world countries in a procurement, contracting, subcontracting or audit role.
• Military experience.
• Experience in very large contracts,
